Hitler’s Heroes explores two of Hitler’s most admired and obsessive followers, Hanna Reitsch, the Luftwaffe’s most daring test pilot, and Otto Skorzeny, his “most favourite command soldier”.
Reitsch was the only woman awarded the Iron Cross First Class and the last pilot to fly out of Berlin, while Skorzeny who received his orders from the Fuhrer himself was to the Allies “the most dangerous man in Europe”.
