44 year-old Bob may look normal but his short-term memory has stopped functioning. For 20 years he’s suffered from organic amnesia after an injury to his brain.
Bob has had to relearn everything, but without memory even being alone is traumatic. So the film gave him a task – to get from Brixton Station to Covent Garden and then walk to the Royal Festival Hall. We allowed him two aids, his 16-year old daughter Louise and an A to Z.
